We are Fiona and Ben, and our journey to farming was via a love of food. The flavour and ethics of food is paramount to us.
Inspired by other first generation farmers rewriting (and rediscovering) the methods of good farming, butchering and connecting with conscious eaters, we set about starting our own farm.
Vue du Volcan Farm, in the central highlands of Victoria, Australia, was born in 2015, and is producing some of the best pastured duck meat in Australia.
In time, we will diversify our animals, trees, and pastures. With grit, and patience.
